Teresa MacFawn, Owner / Angela MacFawn, Owner, Head Trainer

Joining the staff in July 2007, Angela received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Equine Business Management from St. Andrews Presbyterian College in 2004.

While she was a student at St. Andrews, Angela competed on the Intercollegiate Horse Show Associatioin (IHSA) and Affiliated National Riding Commission (ANRC) Teams.  Angela went to the IHSA National Championship in 2004 as an Open rider and finished in the top 10 in the nation.  She was also a member of the 2001 and 2002 ANRC National Championship teams, and 2004 ANRC Reserve National Championship team.

Angela has a level four ANRC (American National Riding Commission) rider certification and worked for three years as a Riding Fellow for Sweet Briar College in Virginia.  Her duties there included: teaching classes of all levels, overseeing the Riding Program's Recreational Program, Field Team Coach, and IHSA Team Coach.  She coached the 2005-2006 IHSA Team to a first place in Zone Four, Region One, second place at Zone Four Finals, and an exciting third place finish in the team competition at the 2006 IHSA National Championship in Harrisburg, PA.

Angela's training style focuses on a calm and measured approach to riding, building on the fundamentals to achieve success. She brings this same quiet confidence to her riding, and has had great success in the hunters, jumpers, and most recently in the hunter derby rings.

As Head Trainer at Three Fox Farm, Angela has led her students to much success in the hunter, jumper and equitation rings. Angela's riders have many accomplishments such as qualifying for and finishing in the Top 10 ribbons at SCHJA, PSJ and BRHJA Adult and Junior Medal Finals as well as achieving year end championships and reserve championships at BRHJA, PSJ, SCHJA AA and Palmetto Circuit Awards. As coach of the USC IHSA Equestrian Team, Angela has led the Gamecock Equestrians to first or second place Regional finishes for the last three years. In addition, USC IHSA riders have qualified for Regionals, Zones and Nationals each year under Angela's tuteladge. In 2012, Angela coached Novice Over Fences rider Shelby Rogers to an exciting Reserve Champion win at IHSA Nationals. And in 2017 Coached Intermediate Fences Rider Alexa Glover to a third place finish at IHSA Nationals. In 2019 coached Open Fences rider Jackie Watts to a 3rd place finish in Open Fences.
